CONTEMPORARY LIFE

The current population of Saturna is about 350 people. Many more have property or visit family, particularly in the summer season, when many visitors come to enjoy the island beauty and culture. The annual Canada Day Lamb BBQ is the largest single event on the island but there are many more which bring the community together on a regular basis.
